PTO Board Nomination & 501c3 Nomination forms Good afternoon TJEMS! You should see two nomination forms coming home in your youngest or only child's folder. Because the names of the two boards are similar we wanted to clarify that there are two separate groups being elected and two different nomination forms. In case you do not see the paper copies come home in the folders, I have also attached the nomination forms here. 1. The first nomination form is to fill the TJEMS PTO Executive Board. These roles are President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Teacher/Staff representative. These roles carry out the functions of the regular PTO activities such as monthly meetings, fundraising events, back to school events, managing the PTO general account and technology fund etc. 2. The second nomination form is to fill the TJEMS 501c3 Board/Advisory Committee. These roles are parent advisory members-at-large. These roles are related specifically to the 501c3 and discussion and decision making regarding the 501c3 capital campaign and associated 501c3 funds and fund disbursement decisions. Once the nomination forms have been collected, nominees will be contacted to confirm their interest in running. Election ballots will then be distributed in April, and election results announced in May. We hope that you will consider running for one of these important roles within the TJEMS community!
